Fewer abandoned applications. Complete files, first time.
AI agents detect stalled applications, tell applicants exactly what is missing and collect documents on WhatsApp — then check completeness and submit to your LOS when the file is ready.
What breaks without governed AI
Applications stall at document submission
Borrowers start an application, reach the document upload step and stop. They don't know which format is acceptable, they can't figure out the portal, or they simply move on. Dropout is silent — nobody chases.
Incomplete files bounce between teams
A file lands at credit with a missing field or a blurred document. It goes back to branch, which goes back to the borrower, which takes days. Each bounce delays the decision and frustrates the applicant.
Drop-off goes unnoticed until the pipeline report
Without automated follow-up, a stalled application sits in a queue until a manager reviews the pipeline. By the time someone reaches out, the borrower has already applied elsewhere.
What the agent does, step by step
Every action is governed, logged and traceable. Your team stays in control at every checkpoint.
The agent monitors your LOS for applications that have not moved in more than a configured number of hours. When it detects a stall, it identifies exactly which fields or documents are outstanding.
On WhatsApp (or SMS as fallback), the agent sends a specific, plain-language message listing only what is missing — not a generic reminder — with an example of what an acceptable document looks like.
The applicant photographs their PAN, Aadhaar, bank statements or business documents and sends them in the chat. The agent confirms receipt, checks legibility and requests a retry if the image is unusable.
Once all required documents are received, the agent runs a completeness check against the requirements for that product type. Only a file that passes all checks is submitted to your LOS.
The complete, verified file is submitted to the LOS with a timestamp and a document manifest. The applicant receives a confirmation. Your credit team sees a complete file, not a partial one.
“The agent collects. Your credit team decides.”
Vaman collects and organises documents — it does not make credit assessments, eligibility decisions or recommendations. Every file is submitted to your LOS for your underwriters to review.
The measures every pilot is judged on
We agree the scorecard before the pilot begins. No metrics are invented after the fact.
Application completion rate
Applications reaching LOS submission vs. started
Time to complete file
Hours from stall detection to submission
Files returned for resubmission
LOS-returned files due to missing or invalid documents
Drop-off recovery rate
Stalled applications resumed after agent contact
Document quality pass rate
Documents accepted without a retry request
Agent-to-credit handoff time
