The right answer, with its source. Every time.
Staff ask questions. Vaman finds the answer in your approved documents, shows the source, and refuses to answer what it cannot find. Consistent answers across every branch, every channel, every time.
What breaks without governed AI
Staff can't find the current rule quickly
Policy documents are long, updated frequently and stored in multiple places. A branch officer who needs to answer a borrower's question about prepayment charges has to interrupt their workflow to search — or guess.
Answers vary by branch and by person
When the same policy question gets different answers at different branches, the institution faces complaints, disputes and potential regulatory findings. Inconsistency is not just a service problem — it is a conduct risk.
Compliance answers the same questions every day
Compliance teams receive repeat queries from operations, sales and branch staff about rules that are already documented. Every hour spent answering these queries is an hour not spent on real risk issues.
What the agent does, step by step
Every action is governed, logged and traceable. Your team stays in control at every checkpoint.
Policy manuals, product circulars, rate cards, regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs are uploaded to Vaman. Each document is version-controlled. Only approved, current versions are searchable.
Questions can be asked via a web interface, MS Teams, or an internal chatbot. No query syntax required — the staff member asks as they would ask a colleague.
The answer includes the exact section, page number, document name and version. Staff can click through to the source document. If the question touches multiple documents, all sources are shown.
If the answer is not in the approved document set, Vaman says so — and optionally routes the question to the relevant team. It does not infer, estimate or generate an answer from general knowledge.
Every question and its source citation is logged. Compliance managers see which topics generate the most queries — a signal for where documentation or training needs to be improved.
“No source, no answer.”
Vaman Policy Copilot is bounded entirely by your approved document set. It cannot use general knowledge, internet sources or inference to fill gaps. If the answer is not in your documents, it says so — and routes the question to your compliance team.
